Born in Shreveport, LA, Amirah is a military “brat” having traveled coast-to-coast and around the world. She’s a decorated track & field athlete having qualified for the Junior Olympics for the American Athletic Union multiple times. She has been ranked Top 5 in the state of Texas and Top 20 in the Nation among girls her age. Additionally, Amirah has been training for powerlifting since she was 6 years old and officially became a member of Maniac Powerlifting in 2016. She competes in USA Powerlifting and is the current holder of nine Texas State records across two Divisions and weight classes. She is also an American Record holder in the deadlift with a 112.5 kg performed at the 2019 USAPL Youth National Championships.
